ABOUT YOUR GUIDE:

Your guide, Ted Neely, has been fly fishing the rivers of the Northwest most of his life. His wide range of interests was always intertwind with his love of fly fishing. He began guiding with Little Creek Outfitters and Marty Sheppard about seven years ago. While guiding with Marty on the John Day and Grande Rhonde, Ted continued to fish the Deschutes, Clackamas, and Sandy. Having fished the Deschutes river for more years than he would like to admit, he took his love and knowledge for this river and began guiding for his good friend John Smerllio at the Deschutes Canyon Fly Shop. This eventually led to Ted owning and operating his own Guide Service on the Deschutes, Sandy, and Clackamas Rivers.

“Back when I was a boy…” his father handed him and fly rod, and it was all over. Many times (during school hours) Ted could be found down at the river. During his years as a Rodeo Cowboy his travels took him to some of the most beautiful rivers in Montana, Idaho, and throughout the west. (Continued on right side >>)
